Couples Therapy
Couples therapy can be an opportunity for you and your partner to rediscover yourselves and your relationship together.
Right now, you might feel disconnected, stuck in the same patterns over and over again, and struggling to find each other through it all. You keep trying, but can’t seem to figure out how to feel heard or understood by each other. You want to feel emotionally connected again, but there are times when that can feel hard or sometimes even impossible. It hasn’t always been this way, and you’re hoping to find a way back to each other. The places that you’re stuck don’t have to define your relationship. Couples therapy can be an option to find a way to get unstuck and reconnect to who you really want to be together.

How Couples Therapy can help:
Improve communication - A lot of times couples find themselves struggling with figuring out how to talk to each other. This could mean avoiding direct communication, trying to communicate but not actually feeling understood, or attempting a variety of strategies without finding one that really works. Couples therapy can help identify the communication patterns that aren’t working, to shift into new patterns that do work.
Heal and repair from the past - This could mean healing or repairing from hurt within the relationship, or working on minimizing the impact that one or both of your past experiences or trauma is having on the relationship dynamic as a whole.
